Does Tumi still honor lifetime warranty?

The lifetime warranty service provided by Tumi was discontinued in 2004. The company went from a lifetime warranty to a five-year warranty as part of its new approach. The level of service at Tumi has decreased dramatically since it was acquired two years ago by Samsonite International.

Does Tumi luggage come with a lifetime warranty?

For five (5) years after you purchase a TUMI product from one of our travel, business, or bag collections, or two (2) years for any wallet or accessory, from an authorized TUMI store or dealer, you will be covered by our Limited Warranty.

How do I register my Tumi warranty?

To register your bag, sign in to your TUMI account, go to My Account scroll to the bottom of the page and enter your 20-digit tracer number in the space provided under REGISTER YOUR TUMI®. The 20-digit tracer number is found at the bottom of the back plate.

Can I return Tumi?

We want you to be fully satisfied with your TUMI products. If you aren’t, we offer complimentary returns within 30 days of receipt. TUMI Full Price Retail purchases can be returned at a TUMI Full Price Retail store. TUMI Outlet purchases can only be returned at a TUMI Outlet.

How do I contact Tumi customer service?

If you live in the USA or Canada, please call 800.299.TUMI (8864) from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST to speak live with a consumer affairs representative. To contact TUMI customer service outside of the US and Canada, please see our list of international centers under the “List of Repair Centers” section on this website.

Can Tumi accessories be repaired?

Please note, accessories are not eligible for repair but will be replaced if under warranty. While international repairs can be submitted online or brought into a local TUMI retail store, they will only be serviced in the country where the repair request is submitted. TUMI products deemed to be in warranty are eligible for complimentary repairs.
