FAQ
Why is my Sonic internet not working?
If you have no internet connectivity on your Sonic Gigabit Fiber connection it is possible your ONT (Fiber Modem) isn’t receiving a signal. To confirm your ONT isn’t receiving a signal consult the LEDs labeled Power and Fiber on the front of the device – if those LEDs are illuminated your ONT is receiving a signal.
How do I connect to Sonic Wi-Fi?
You can find your wireless information on the side panel of your Sonic provided gateway. You will need to know the SSID (Wi-Fi network name) and Wi-Fi key to join the wireless network from any computer, tablet or mobile phone. The default system password is required to customize your settings.
How does Sonic internet get installed?
The equipment needed for your Sonic internet service depends on the plan you’re on. People on the Fusion X1 and Fusion X2 plans will need a Wi-Fi router. You can bring your own or rent one from Sonic. The Fusion IP Broadband plan requires the rental of an AT&T modem and an analog telephone adaptor (ATA).
