Does SMUD have a 24 hour customer service?

Our business hours are Monday – Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM PST. If you are trying to reach us after hours, we will respond to your voice mail or email as soon as we return. Sign up for monthly email updates.

How do I turn my SMUD power back on?

Steps to reset your breakers:

Check to see if the main circuit breaker has switched to the “off” or “trip” position. If it has, then move it fully to the “off” position, and then over to the “on” position. If that does not restore power, call our toll-free outage line at 1-888-456-7683 to report an outage.

How do I call SMUD before digging?

Be safe and call before you dig. Learn the location of any underground utilities near your home by contacting Underground Service Alert. Call 811 at least two working days before digging. They are open 6 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Friday, except holidays.
