How do I speak to a person at SCE?

If your question or comment requires specialized knowledge, a full reply may take several more days. If you have further questions or concerns, please contact SCE at 1-800-655-4555 to speak to a customer service representative.

What number do I call to start service at SCE?

If you prefer to submit your request over the phone, call us at 1-800-655-4555 at least 48 hours before you’d like your service turned on (please note that we do not turn on service on weekends or holidays). A $5 service connection charge will be added to your opening statement.

Why is my SCE bill negative?

If you “net consumed” energy, this amount will be a positive number (as in the example), and you will have energy usage charges for the month. If you “net generated” energy, this amount will be a negative number and you will have an energy credit for the month.
