How do I change my name on my Pepco account?

You can also contact us by phone at 202-833-7500 or in writing (see page 2 for address). As many as two individuals can be listed on your Pepco account. Only the person(s) whose name appears on the bill can make changes to the account or to the electric service.

How do I start the electric service in DC?

Within thirty days of your move-in date, you can contact PEPCo to schedule your start date. Electricity to your new residence is turned on at 8:00 am on the first day of service. How to start service: Fill out the form online or call (202) 833-7500. Deposit: In most cases, there is no deposit.

Can I pay Pepco bill with credit card?

What can a Pepco service provider do?

Service Providers can also submit applications for incentives on behalf of Pepco business customers, and may perform the work associated with the installation or tune-up. Many of our programs require companies to be an approved Service Provider prior to submitting applications for incentives or performing installations.
